Alan Gogoll is an instrumental acoustic guitarist from the picturesque hills of Tasmania. Having taken up guitar an early age, Alan has continually sought to refine his craft and develop his sound to captivate his audience. Invited to play at festivals around Australia such as Easterfest, Cygnet Folk Festival, Taste Festival and Falls Festival as well as receiving critical acclaim on ABC Classic FM, Alan is a truly unique performer.
Having performed at media events, weddings, festivals as well as drawing large crowds busking, Alan has developed his live set alongside his recorded works. Small Giraffes, released in March 2012, is Alan’s debut instrumental acoustic album featuring eleven original solo guitar pieces. Released in April 2013, Friendly Elephants is his follow up studio album showcasing a further ten compositions.
Alan is a Christian by faith, a full time musician by trade and a troll hunter in his spare
time.
